How it works

Twenty minutes. One decision.

Clarity compounds. Confusion costs.

01

Tell me where you are

A 90-second multiple-choice form: seven quick questions and your contact details. You get a short growth snapshot straight away, whether or not you are selected.

02

We work the problem

Twenty focused minutes in Calgary on October 8 or 9, or by video call afterwards, on the decision in front of you: a new market, a new SKU, a stalled sales channel, or what comes next.

03

You keep the thinking

You leave with two or three clear next moves, written up and sent to you after the call. Yours to use, with or without me.

Good things to bring

The problems that don't fit neatly into anyone's job description.

  • Getting beyond the taproomWhich retail and on-premise accounts to chase, and how to earn the reorder.
  • Entering a new marketAnother province, a new channel, or national distribution, and the regulatory path to get there.
  • Launching a new SKUA new beer, a seasonal, an RTD or a non-alcoholic line: whether it earns its place in the portfolio.
  • Sales and marketing alignmentWhen the brand story and the sales conversation have drifted apart.
  • Sharpening the brandA refresh or reposition that solves a commercial problem, not a cosmetic one.
  • What comes nextGrowth has flattened and the team has five ideas. Which one first?
Who you'll be talking to

I've been on every side of the beer business.

My beverage career started behind the bar, ran through Alberta craft beer, and moved into importing and market development in BC, where I learned what it takes to move product through regulated markets and onto shelves.

I was on the founding team of The Strait and Narrow Pacific Coast Cocktails, one of Canada's early craft RTD brands, which we scaled from launch into national distribution.

Today, through Arrow Consulting, I work with founders and leadership teams as a strategic advisor and fractional CMO. I want to know what sales is hearing, where operations are stuck, what the numbers say, and whether the promise can be delivered. Then I find where the opportunity is.

Apply

Ninety seconds. An instant growth snapshot.

I'm holding a limited number of in-person sessions at the convention, plus a few video calls afterwards. I'll choose the breweries where twenty minutes can make the biggest difference, and reply to every applicant personally.

Last step

Where should I send your snapshot?

One question for your team this week

Your application is in. I'll reply personally within one business day, whether or not we book a session. Screenshot this snapshot if you'd like to share it with your team.

Questions

The fair questions.

Is this a sales call in disguise?

No. The twenty minutes are about your problem. If there is a clear fit for further work, I will say so once at the end. If not, you keep the plan and we part as friends.

Why so few?

Because each session gets real preparation. I read your answers beforehand so we start at the problem, not the introductions.

What if I'm not selected?

You still get your growth snapshot now, and I'll follow up personally with something useful for the challenge you described.

Do I need to be at the convention?

No. In-person sessions are in Calgary on October 8 and 9. If you can't be there, choose a video call and we'll find a time in the weeks after. Any Alberta brewery, cidery or distillery is welcome to apply.

Where do we meet?

At or near the convention in Calgary. I'll send the exact spot when I confirm your time.

What happens to my information?

It is used confidentially, by me alone, to review your application and follow up with you. It is never sold or shared.
